Terms of use and sale

Updated October 19, 2026
These terms apply to anyone who uses DuffleCards, on the web, iOS or Android. By playing, you accept them. This English version is provided for convenience; the French version applies.

1. The game

DuffleCards is a collectible card game about the Second World War, published by Red Brick Studio (see the legal notice). You open packs, complete your album and trade cards with other players. The game is free; some content is paid (section 6).
The content is historical and educational. Texts are summarized from Wikipedia and may contain errors or simplifications; please report them.

2. Your account

•
At first launch, you play as a guest: your collection is tied to this device. If you clear the app’s data or change device without saving, it is lost.
•
Saving with an e-mail (or Google, Apple) keeps your collection and makes it available on your other devices. The market between players requires a saved account.
•
Your account is personal. One account per person: creating accounts in bulk to collect rewards is prohibited (section 5).
•
You can delete your account at any time from the profile. Deletion is final: cards, packs and coins are lost, with no refund of purchases already used.

3. Coins, cards and packs

Coins, cards, packs and the subscription are digital content of the game. You receive a personal right to use them, in the game only; you do not own them.
•
They have no monetary value. They can never be converted into real money, withdrawn, or traded outside the game.
•
Selling, buying or trading them for money or any other goods outside the game (resale sites, social networks…) is prohibited.
•
Pack contents are drawn at random according to rates shown in the game (shop, profile, and the link below). Packs are never sold directly for real money.
•
The publisher may adjust the game’s economy (prices, rewards, rates, market rules) to keep it balanced, without removing cards already obtained fairly.

4. The market

•
Players with a saved account can list cards for sale and buy them, for coins only.
•
The price is free between a minimum and a maximum set by the game. A commission in coins (8% today) is taken from each sale.
•
A card received recently (pack, purchase) can only be listed again after a short delay.
•
The Quartermaster is a non-player character run by the game: it sells and buys back cards to keep the market alive. It is always presented as such.
•
A completed sale is final. Using the market to move coins or cards from one account to another (absurd prices, arranged sales) is prohibited.

5. Rules of conduct and sanctions

It is prohibited to:
•
create or use several accounts to pile up or transfer rewards;
•
use bots, scripts or any tool that automates the game;
•
exploit a bug instead of reporting it, or try to access other players’ data;
•
trade game content for real money;
•
dispute a payment or ask for a refund to keep content while getting it refunded.
Depending on the severity, the publisher may remove content obtained irregularly, restrict access to the market, suspend or close the account. Except in an emergency (ongoing fraud, security), the player is notified and can explain before a closure. An account closed for fraud gives no right to a refund.
To dispute a decision: contact@dufflecards.app.

6. Purchases

•
Prices are shown in the shop, in euros including taxes (or in your currency on the stores).
•
On iOS and Android, payment goes through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. On the web, it goes through Stripe; the publisher is then the seller.
•
Coins and the subscription are delivered immediately after payment.
•
The “Priority supply” subscription lasts one month and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel it at any time, free of charge: if you subscribed on the web, with the “Cancel my subscription” link in the shop or the profile; if you subscribed on iOS or Android, in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the renewals: the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period. You get a confirmation with the date it was received and the date it takes effect.
•
Right of withdrawal: since the content is delivered right away, you ask for immediate performance and expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal at the time of purchase (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
•
Refunds: on the stores, they are decided by Apple or Google. If a purchase is refunded or disputed, the matching coins or subscription days are taken back, even if they were spent; your balance may then go negative, and the market is closed to you while it is.
•
If something was not delivered, write to us with the date and platform of the purchase: we check and credit what is missing.
•
Minors: a purchase requires a parent’s permission.

7. Availability and changes

The game is provided as is and may change: new cards, rebalancing, new features, or removal of some. It may be interrupted for maintenance. The publisher does its best to avoid any data loss, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted operation.
If the game were to close for good, players would be notified at least 30 days in advance, and the sale of paid content stopped as soon as it is announced.

8. Liability

The publisher is not liable for losses caused by a lost or reset device without a backup, by use of the account by someone you gave access to your e-mail, or by a breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content.

9. Intellectual property

The DuffleCards name, logo, artwork and code belong to the publisher. Photos and texts under a free license remain subject to their license, shown in the credits.

10. Personal data

How it is handled is described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to the terms

These terms may change. If there is a significant change, you are told in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you disagree with something, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution.
Failing that, you can use the consumer mediator free of charge: [À compléter : médiateur de la consommation (nom, site web)].
If no agreement is reached, the dispute goes to the competent courts; as a consumer, you can go to the court where you live.
